Thomas Manufacturing Company of Dayton, Ohio, the kerosene pressurized lanterns and lamps producer, is believed to not be the same company as the Thomas Manufacturing Company of Springfield, Ohio (an implement manufacturer) who moved to Dayton, Ohio. There is often confusion between these 2 companies as they had the same name and were in the same city.

Another Thomas Kerosafe iron. Literature with this unbadged iron calls this "The Kerosafe Self-Heating Iron" and other literature with this iron refers to it as "The Faultless Self-Heating Iron". This iron is not in my collection.

The Kerosafe kerosene iron by the Thomas Manufacturing Company of Dayton, Ohio. Due to the gas generator of this iron resembling the Gloria iron generators, it is believed that Gloria produced this iron for Thomas, but there are also a lot of other similarities that lead to Enterprise Tool & Metal Works of Chicago, Illinois as being the maker of this iron.

The Thomas Kero-Safe iron pictured in this ad is almost identical to the Perfecto iron pictured to the right. I believe that this above iron pictured in this ad was made for Thomas by Enterprise Tool & Metal Works of Chicago, Illinois.
