This flyer shows the same E-Z Hydrocarbon Sad Iron from Enterprise Tool, but it is called the Economy Self Heating Iron from Economy Lamp Company of Kansas City, Missouri. I would think that Enterprise Tool made this iron for Economy.
REX iron from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This iron was made by Enterprise Tool & Metal Works of Chicago, Illinois as their patent date is on the base of the handle and this iron is identical to the Hydrocarbon E-Z Sad Iron.

This iron was made by Enterprise Tool & Metal Works for The Akron Lamp Company in the later 1910's. Much like Monitor Sad Iron Company making Coleman's 1st irons, Enterprise Tool appears to have done the same for Akron Lamp and other companies. This iron is identical to the Hydrocarbon E-Z Sad Iron except for the embossing on the top plate.
The date stamp on this iron of Oct. 27, 1914 is of the patent #1,114,916 by Frank Rosengren which pictures this same iron body, similar burner, and same handle type, but is a natural gas iron.

"Hydrocarbon E-Z Tailor Iron No. 3 B Patent Applied For" from around 1916. This iron appears to have been made from the George Rosengren patent #1,205,265 for Enterprise Tool and Metal Works. This iron was from Auckland, New Zealand in Pieter & Lia Verweij's collection, but now it is in George Kyle's collection. It is missing the fuel tank cap and air valve.
