Ideal Sad Iron from Taylor Forbes Company LTD of Guelph, Ontario. This iron is identical to the Ideal Sad Iron made by the Ideal Sad Iron Manufacturing Company of Cleveland, Ohio which can be seen on the Other US Irons page. This iron is in Theo Vandenberk's collection.

Thomas Edwards of Chatham, Ontario patented this iron on March 12, 1895. This iron is not in my collection and is missing it's fuel cap.
"The Ideal" Self Heating Iron manufactured by Jno (John) Morrow & Company of Ingersoll, Ontario. This iron was made off of the Morrow & Curtis patent of May 20, 1890. A very similar iron is pictured in the Other US Irons page and was made by the Worcester Self-Heating Iron Company of Worcester, Massachusetts. This iron is in Theo Vandenberk's collection.
